Campaign aims to keep recycling clean

REDUCING recycling contamination is the focus of Swan Hill Rural City Council’s Small Acts Make a Big Impact campaign.

Council strategic waste co-ordinator Ron Gibbs told The Guardian that the biggest curb-side recycling contaminant was recyclable materials that had been bagged rather than put loose by residents into the curb-side bins.
