BALRANALD young people have kicked off summer with excitement at the first Sounds and Scribbles youth festival.

An afternoon of live entertainment, rides and food was on offer as youth from across the region travelled to Greenham Park to join in the fun.

The event was organised by Balranald Shire Council and Youth Council, in partnership with the New South Wales Government.
