A FORMER agricultural contractor is spearheading a campaign to question the power of the Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA).

Dingwall resident Brian Fletcher said farming families in regional Victoria had "no confidence" in the basin plan.

Mr Fletcher posed five questions to Member for Mallee Anne Webster regarding the powers of the MDBA and the rights of citizens to water under the Crown.
