A FORMER teacher has pleaded guilty to maintaining a sexual relationship with a child under 16 for a year-and-a-half.

Ben Nathan Kelly appeared in person at Mildura Magistrates' Court on Monday, and linked into the matter which was heard via video link at Melbourne's County Court.

The now 41-year old is on bail over the offending after being charged on November 15 last year.
