THERE were plenty of green thumbs at the weekend with Swan Hill Council's free green waste initiative hailed a success.

On the last weekend of October each year, residents can drop-off clean green waste like grass clippings, leaves, small branches, weeds, and garden pruning’s to landfills in Swan Hill and Robinvale free of charge.
