PUBLIC interest journalism will receive a bolster with over $15 million in grant funding being allocated.

Applications are now open for the $15 million News Media Relief Program, or NMRP.

The NMRP will aim to provide eligible regional, independent, suburban, multicultural and First Nations news publishers creating online news content with grants of $13,000 per full-time equivalent journalist.
