Get set for pelican breeding boom

THOUSANDS of pelicans are set to take flight from two inland lakes in NSW following large breeding events. There have been more than 25,000 pelicans counted at Lake Brewster in the Lachlan Valley, and at Kieeta Lake in the Murrumbidgee Valley, which has only once before recorded pelican nesting – in 2016.
