SWAN Hill last week recorded its first drop of rain in more than 40 days with 24mm on Thursday and Friday.

It was the first rainfall recorded since 31.4mm between February 3-5.

It was also the highest daily falls since 37.6mm on December 26, 2023.

So far this year, 61.4mm has fallen (6mm in January, 31.4mm in February and 24mm in March), above the historical average of 59.3mm.
