SWAN Hill highway patrol officers are targeting drink and drug drivers on the roads this Easter long weekend.

They are taking part in Operation Nexus which kicked off at 00.01am today and runs to 11.59pm on Monday.

The Easter weekend sees an influx of visitors to the Swan Hill region.
