MALLEE District Aboriginal Service is searching for its sixth chief executive officer in just four years after the resignation of Darlene Thomas.

Ms Thomas, who has been in the role for the past 18 months and worked at MDAS for nine years, announced on Monday she was stepping down to pursue new opportunities and spend more time with family.
