A NEW councillor will join six incumbents in the makeup of Swan Hill Rural City Council for the next four years.

Swan Hill businessman Stuart King (1327 first preference votes) was third elected and joins Jade Benham (2007), Les McPhee (1888), Nicole McKay (1227), William Moar (988), Ann Young (882) and Chris Jeffery (463) in the council chamber.
