IMPROVED wages and working conditions is what Victorian nurses and midwives are asking for amid stalled enterprise agreement negotiations.

Victorian public sector nurses and midwives began protected industrial action at 7am last Tuesday in an attempt to secure better wages and allowances from employers and the state government.
