ACTIVE and retired police officers were honoured for their services to the community at the Swan Hill Police Service Area medal and certificate presentation last Thursday.

Western Region Division Six Acting Assistant Commissioner Sharon McKinnon said the awards were a rare opportunity for police to congratulate their own.
