ABORIGINAL women in the Swan Hill region were provided with a day of pampering as an escape from family violence.

About 100 females attended the event at Swan Hill Racecourse on Tuesday, running in Swan Hill for the fourth time.

Sisters Day Out was organised by Djirra, who provide assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family violence and sexual assault victims and survivors.
