ALLAN McCallum was enjoying some low-key celebrations with family and friends this week after being made an Officer of the Order of Australia in the Queen's Birthday honours on Monday.

The award recognised Mr McCallum's distinguished service to primary industry, particularly grain, seafood and medicinal plant production, as well as his contribution to professional organisations.
