THE CFA has declared the fire danger period will begin in Swan Hill Rural City Council and Buloke Shire Council on Monday, 1am, November 4.

CFA District 18 assistant chief fire officer Gavin Wright said the restrictions imposed by the fire danger period are an important community safety measure over the summer.
