STAFF and students at SuniTAFE Swan Hill are throwing their weight behind today's International Women's Day by making a declaration to support gender equality and family violence prevention.

Acknowledged worldwide on March 8, the day aims in part to create a future for women free from stigma, stereotypes and violence.
