THE town of Robinvale is turning a historic 100 on October 23.
Known as 'Bumbang' prior to European settlement, Herbert Cuttle purchased the land that would become the township in 1913.
The name change came in memory of his son, Lieutenant George Robin Cuttle, who had been killed in action in 1918 near the Western Front.
