A SINKHOLE that stranded a truck over the weekend has been repaired, with no further concerns about the road's integrity.

The hole occurred when a truck was working to fix a leaking hydrant in Bryan Street, before the Gillespie Street intersection, on Sunday afternoon.

The rear left tyre of the truck became lodged under the road's surface, a large crane was called in to extract the vehicle.
