NINE new trains will be rolled out onto Victoria's regional rail network, but won't be seen north of Bendigo.

Minister for Public Transport Ben Carroll said nine three-carriage VLocity trains had entered service in the past two months.

The new trains are part of a Victorian Government investment of more than $1 billion in VLocity trains and infrastructure since 2015.
