Swan Hill councillors divided over Pandemic Bill

IN a passing vote of six to one, Swan Hill Rural City Council agreed with a motion that they would write to state politicians opposing the 'Pandemic Bill', which would give the Victorian state premier and health minister powers to declare what constitutes a pandemic and enforce health directions, rather than the chief medical officer.
