THE relatively milder weather experienced in Swan Hill early this week has given way to soaring heat.

After days of temperatures in the mid-20s and clear skies, temperatures had hit 35 degrees by 2.30pm on Thursday.

The Bureau of Meteorology warned heatwave conditions were expected into the weekend.
