DANGEROUS fire conditions tomorrow has prompted authorities to declare a Total Fire Ban for the Mallee and Wimmera.

Saturday's conditions will be hot and dry statewide with extreme fire danger in the two districts.

Maximum temporaries will reach 38 degrees in Swan Hill.
