LOCAL farmers have the opportunity to learn more about cropping and livestock operations at two upcoming events in the region.

A Mallee tour will take place next Wednesday on Rowan Hender's farm at Waitchie and of the Mallee Hay Processing Plant in Ultima, while a livestock basics day will be held on April 3 at Treweek's farm in Wakool.
