THEY have spent only a few days in Swan Hill, but police stationed at the state border are in no rush to leave.

Hailing from Melbourne, Geelong and Bendigo, visiting officers have been alternating between patrolling the region and monitoring bridge traffic at Swan Hill's border with NSW.
