FARMERS say the Victorian Government's decision to extend the Seasonal Harvest Sign-On Bonus and quarantine pathway for Pacific workers is "positive".

"Having those two programs continuing is a good thing," Victorian Farmers Federation horticulture president Nathan Free said.

"There's a lot of nervous farmers sitting out there in horticulture in Victoria, and we really want some real solutions....
