BALRANALD is “well prepared” should evacuation of at-risk residents be needed, Balranald Shire Council acting general manager Kerry Jones says.

Last Wednesday, New South Wales SES put out a watch-and-act warning for residents at Rocks Road and Island Road, telling them to prepare for isolation and recommended making evacuation plans.
