CONSTRUCTION of a new viewing platform and boardwalk overlooking the Little Murray River will finally begin this week.

Announced in December 2021, the project is more than a year behind schedule.

It will be located near the existing Yamagata garden, between Big 4 Riverside and the Pioneer Settlement, overlooking the river.
