Call for flexibility in aged care reforms

AGED care reforms should be implemented with greater flexibility to ensure smaller private or community-run centres in regional and rural areas could stay open, according to Member for Mallee Anne Webster.

The community-owned Allambi Elderly People's Home at Dimboola will close on February 1, because its 11 residents are not enough to sustain a registered nurse onsite around the clock, as required
