MILITARY personnel helping with flood fortification in the region will be special guests at Swan Hill's Remembrance Day service on Friday morning.

Swan Hill RSL senior vice-president Harold Heslop said the service would hold extra significance, having serving men and women in attendance.

The service will begin at 10.45am at the war memorial on the corner of Campbell and McCallum streets.
