A BARKING good time was had at the Swan Hill Outdoor Pool on Sunday with a Dogs Day Out.

Nearly 40 dogs and their owners flooded the outdoor pool from 11am to 4pm, fetching balls and splashing about in the pool to celebrate the Belgravia Foundation’s end of the outdoor pool season fundraiser.

Swan Hill Leisure Centre youth activation officer Dani Fleming told The Guardian that the Belgravia Foundation raises funds to bridge the gap for under-represented groups, funding initiatives and programs so that everyone can be included in sport, recreation, leisure and aquatics.

“We had actually an idea to involve the community to participate in a fundraiser, and the Dogs Day Out was something that I thought would actually really work,” Ms Fleming said.
