Few hit in super switch

CHANGES to superannuation tax concession rules will affect very few retirees in the region, according to Swan Hill Association of Independent Retirees secretary Lindsay McRae.

Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers announced on Tuesday the tax rate on earnings from super would double to 30 per cent for balances above $3 million from July 2026.
