FIREFIGHTERS quickly brought two grassfires under control on the Donald-Swan Hill Road at about 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Units from Swan Hill and Lake Boga CFA responded to the fires that were believed to have been sparked by a passing truck experiencing a mechanical malfunction, as the two fires were just a short distance apart.
