MINING development company VHM Ltd is searching for a new managing director or chief executive officer to take over from Graham Howard.

Mr Howard will step down from the role on September 30 but remain on the leadership team as a non-executive director.

He will focus on the approvals process for the Goschen Rare Earths and Minerals Sands Project that is nearing public exhibition stage.
