THE names of ten more prominent community members have been added to Swan Hill Rural City Council’s list of pre-approved names for roads, parks and buildings.

Nine of the new names are women, and three are Indigenous.

It follows a move by council to commemorate more women and Indigenous people and words, when it called for public submissions earlier in the year.
