BISH Road in Swan Hill will get a major makeover with work to reconstruct and seal the road starting next week.
Funded through the Swan Hill Rural City Council roads program, the upgrades include widening the road to 6.2 metres and sealing a 1.1km stretch of road from Karinie Street to Murrawee Road.
Due to the works, Bish Road will be closed to traffic from Monday until mid-March from the intersection of Karinie Street through to Murrawee Road.
Residents of the affected area will still have access.
Drivers may experience short delays to enter or exit.
The works are expected to take four weeks to complete, weather permitting.
