SWAN Hill residents now have a clearer understanding of when the region will receive more social housing from the State Government's Big Housing Build program.

Housing Minister Danny Pearson on Tuesday announced $25 million in social and affordable housing would start building in 2023 in Swan Hill and Mildura, from a $55 million allocation.
