MANY Swan Hill locals have noticed the addition of cameras in and around the CBD this week.

These cameras are part of a traffic survey being conducted by Transport for NSW.

A spokesperson from Transport for NSW told The Guardian it, along with the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning, is developing options and a business case for the new Swan Hill Bridge.

“As part of early planning, traffic surveys are being carried out to monitor existing traffic conditions around the Swan Hill Bridge, including lift operations,” the spokesperson said.

“Data collected will be used to model traffic behaviour to inform design options for a new bridge at Swan Hill.”
