A SMALL group of Vietnam veterans, their families and members of the public came together on Friday morning to acknowledge Vietnam Veterans' Day.

The solemn Friday morning ceremony was attended by about 25 people.

With cloud overhead, and rain threatening to interrupt proceedings, nothing was going to stop those gathered from honouring fallen mates, and those who returned from the conflict.
