Champion Koondrook local jockey Jye McNeil has just a few minutes ago landed another huge group one event to his CV. MgNeil scored a tight win  onboard former import, Homesman in the TAB Australian Cup over 2000 metres at Flemington this afternoon. It was an emotional win as the two time group one Homesman was part owned by the late, great Michael Gudinski, who passed away suddenly this week. Homesman is trained by Sam Freedman and scored at the lucrative odds of 25/1. A channel seven commentator appropriately said that the horse  and Jye were sending Michael off in style and 'Sport just sometimes gets it right.
