Swan Hill police offer numberplate fix

SWAN Hill police worried at the rise in the theft of registration plates from vehicles will offer free security screws to fasten numberplates to vehicles.

Police members will be at the tourist information bay opposite Swan Hill police station on Campbell Street between noon and 1pm on Friday, September 17.

Prohibited weapons located

A LAKE Boga woman will appear in court after police allegedly found two prohibited weapons. Swan Hill police Senior Constable Travis Collier said the 36-year-old woman’s vehicle was searched at 3am on August 21.

Takeaways taken away

TWO Menulog delivery bags were allegedly taken by a man at McDonald’s Swan Hill just after midnight on September 11.

Stealing caution

POLICE have issued a caution to a 36-year-old Swan Hill woman over items stolen from the Cheap as Chips store on Beveridge Street, Swan Hill, on September 9.

Property damage

UNKNOWN offenders caused damage to fences and a letterbox at a multiple properties on Mortoo Street, Swan Hill, about 8pm on September 5.

Cannabis find

POLICE found cannabis in a vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Mildura man during a routine intercept on Chapman Street, Swan Hill, at 2.55am on September 4.

Trafficking charges

POLICE are investigating drug trafficking charges after a search of a Robinvale property.

Sen-Constable Travis Collier said the man would face court charged with trafficking ketamine and knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime.

The investigation was continuing.

Swan Hill fight

ANYONE who saw a fight between two males and two females at the Swan Hill Coles supermarket about 2.45pm on August 25 should contact First Constable Slater at Swan Hill police station.

Charlton windows damaged

UNKNOWN offenders caused damage to a window at the front of a business on High Street in Charlton, between 10.10pm and 10.20pm on September 7, and between 5pm on September 8 and 11.30am on September 9.

Fire hydrant damage

THE booster inlet of a fire hydrant system at the East Wimmera Health Service Donald campus was damaged by offenders between 6.30pm and 7pm on September 7.
