SWAN HILL

PROPERTY damage: A RESIDENT has discovered their car windscreen had been damaged by a golf ball.

About 9pm last Saturday, they heard a loud bang outside their house and, despite checking a camera, no one appeared to be outside.

About half an hour later, another two bangs were heard and the resident went out and found two golf balls next to the shed.

The following morning, about 8.30am, they went to their car and observed windscreen damage from a golf ball.

Theft: Between 10.30pm on November 10 and 10am the following day, a mobility scooter was stolen from a front yard.

It was parked near the front door overnight and in the morning it was gone.

The mobility scooter was black with a chrome grill and “Gatsby” written on it.

Theft: Horse shoes and a 500mm fire poker were among items alleged to have been taken from the Pioneer Settlement between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on November 10.

The items were outside the front of the blacksmith shop, which was unmanned at the time. The items are made at the Settlement to be sold and are all unique. No photos are available and the items were worth about $200.

KERANG

Criminal damage: The fuel tank of a cricket pitch roller at Kerang Cricket Club was emptied of seven litres of unleaded fuel between 8pm on November 10 and 8.50am the following day.

Police said it appeared orange juice had been placed into the petrol tank, causing the rolled to be unusable, putting the possible damage bill in the range of $8000 to $10,000.
