Attempted theft

POLICE say an offender may have been disturbed while trying to seal a bicycle in Swan Hill.

Just before 4pm on April 19, the victim locked up their bike outside a business on the southern end of Campbell Street.

Offenders used an unknown implement to cut through the cable.

The offender may have been disturbed, as the bike was not stolen.


Burglary

AN intruder entered a Swan Hill home while the occupant was sleeping and stole a mobile phone and taxi card.

The incident happened at a Foster Street address between 11.30pm on April 18 and 10am the following day.


Suspicious fire

OFFENDERS accessed a home in Beverford before lighting a fire.

Police said offenders gained entry to the residence on Murray Valley Highway between April 10 and 16.

The inside of the home was damaged by fire which appears to have been deliberately lit.


Item taken

TOOLS were stolen from a Swan Hill garage.

Offenders gained access to a garage in Arnoldt Street between April 8 and 15.

A Makita battery and charger were taken.
