Mirror damage

A MAN is alleged to have damaged a parked vehicle in Swan Hill.

A 34-year-old male punched and broke the side mirror of a vehicle parked in Campbell Street shortly before 11pm on July 5.

Police interviewed the male who was still in the vicinity.

He is expected to receive a summons to appear in court at a later date.


Stolen vehicle

POLICE are probing the theft of a vehicle from a service station in Swan Hill.

The victim left the keys inside the 2010 grey Holden Berlina sedan and went to pay for fuel, about 3.30pm on July 2.

Whilst paying, an unknown offender got into the vehicle and drove off.

The vehicle was yet to be located.


Copper theft

COPPER wiring was stolen from silo control rooms at Warne, Teddywaddy and Boigbeat last month.

The offenders forced their way into the premises.

Police are also investigating a possible attempted theft at the Berriwillock silo that occurred during the same period.

Police said these incidents appear to be part of a series of targeted thefts.
