IT was an unlucky day for one Swan Hill driver caught hooning on Friday, September 13.

Police detected a vehicle travelling at 150km/h in a 60km/h zone on Karinie Street, Swan Hill, about 11.30pm.

The vehicle was impounded for 30 days and will cost the driver more than $1500 to retrieve.
