POLICE are investigating the cause of a single-vehicle fatal crash in Piangil on Monday night.

Emergency services found the vehicle had crashed through a power pole, fence and a tree at the Murray Valley and Mallee highways intersection, north of Swan Hill, about 9.30pm.
