SWAN Hill tennis players are entirely making up the Northern Mallee region team for this weekend's Tennis Victoria Inter-regional Country Championships.

The championships are an annual three-day tennis tournament, where around 250 players from 11 country regions of Victoria compete in teams for the trophy.

This year's event kicks off today at Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club.
