BALRANALD-born Troy Flanagan was holding the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy high on Wednesday.

Dr Flanagan is vice-president of performance for the Milwaukee Bucks, who took out the 2020-21 National Basketball Association (NBA) finals by beating the Phoenix Suns 105-98.

"My initial reaction as the game clock was closing down was, 'Is this really happening?' Dr Flanagan told The Guardian.
