FOUR Swan Hill Specialist School students have outrun their competition to gain eligibility for state championships in cross country next month.

Students competed on a cold day in St Arnaud in the Loddon Mallee Regional Championships.

The students included Lachie Roberts and Jordan Baker, who finished first and third respectively in the 17 to 20-year-old multi class.
