THE Kerang Football Netball Club has been fined $16,000 after breaching the salary cap last season.

The club was issued two charges relating to sustained breaches of the player payment rules, which were referred to an AFL Central Victoria Player Payment Disciplinary Committee.

As a result of the review, the club was fined $16,000, with $6000 suspended until the conclusion of the 2026 season.
